Folios 220-221: Man Dobson, Bristol Regulating Captain. Suggested modification of HMS Enchantress now she’ has arrived at Plymouth. To supply her legs to enable her to stand up in the river Avon when she’s moored as she will ground every tide. Replace five of her six pound cannons with ten twelve pound guns to make her more effective. She only has mounts for four six pounders. She appears overmasted which may cause her cannons to be thrown overboard. Reducing the masts a little.
