Folios 231-232: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to letter dated 18 June 1810 in the case of William Johnson was impressed concealed on shore in the neighbourhood of North Shields by Lieutenant Thomas Flinn on 11 June 1810 and was detained for the service as it appeared he had been three years at sea. He was 26, he served an apprenticeship a Shipwright and has been employed as a Carpenter on a Merchant Ship.
Folios 233-234: enclosure with folios 231-232. Letter dated 15 June 1810 by Jona Cockerill, North Shields, to the Admiralty. Requests permission to raise substitutes for William Johnson.
