Description

Folios 179-180: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to letter dated 11 June 1810 in the case of William Geddes Able Seaman on HMS Lyra, Tender, in this harbour. William Geddes was impressed by Lieutenant Thomas Flinn on 7 June 1810 on shore at a place called White Hill Point, about two miles from this town and contiguous to the River Tyne.

Folios 181-182: enclosure with folios 179-180. Letter dated 8 June 1810 by Chris Bainbridge, South Shields, to the Admiralty. Covering letter for the enclosed petition for Wlliam Geddes, Mate of the Brig Kite.

Folios 183-184: enclosure with folios 181-182. Petition of William Geddes, dated 8 June 1810.
