Folios 179-180: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to letter dated 11 June 1810 in the case of William Geddes Able Seaman on HMS Lyra, Tender, in this harbour. William Geddes was impressed by Lieutenant Thomas Flinn on 7 June 1810 on shore at a place called White Hill Point, about two miles from this town and contiguous to the River Tyne.
