Folios 129-130: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to directions in your letter dated 5 June 1810, mis-sent to South Shields in the case of John Hannah [Hanna], Able Seaman on HMS Namur. He was impressed on the River Tyne on 19 May 1810 by Lieutenant James Dathan, South Shields from the ship Lucy of South Shields, James Tate Master, where he was employed before the mast. He is about 30, and been several years employed at sea.
Folios 131-132: enclosure with folios 129-130. Letter dated 1 June 1810 by John Hanna, HMS Namur, to the Admiralty. Letter requesting his discharge.
