Folios 32-33: James Sykes, Arundel Street. Agents for James Collins. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from Captain John William Spranger, (then Senior Officer in the Command of His Majesty's Ships and Vessels at Malta), dated 18 March 1810. Directs Captain James Collins to receive on board HMS Meteor, Captain Leake, His Majesty's accredited Minister and Suit to be conveyed to England. Request the recommended remuneration to Captain James Collins be paid.
Folios 34-35: enclosure with folios 32-33. Orders dated 16 March 1810 by John William Spranger, HMS Warrior, Malta, to James Collins, HMS Meteor. Take Captain Leake, His Majesty's accredited Minister and Suit to England. As you pass to send a Boat to Gibraltar to communicate with the Admiral or Senior Officer and receive his orders and dispatches.
