Folios 19-20: Benjamin Carter, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. Reply to letters dated 30 and 31 May 1810. States that Abraham Thornton was impressed by Lieutenant Potter on 22 May 1810 as an Ordinary aged 23 born in Molton. He said he was the Master of the Adventure. Henry Williams was impressed by Lieutenant Evans on 26 March 1810, born in Anglesea. He said he belonged to the Local Militia but had no documents. Samuel Wright entered with Lieutenant Potter on 16 May 1810 as a Boy Volunteer aged 15, born in Woodhouse.
