Folios 551-552: Benjamin Carter, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. Response to a request to state the case of John Main, aged 22, who was imprest by Lieutenant Hyde John Clarke on 21 February 1810. He was taken on shore after 8pm.
Folios 553-554: enclosure with folios 551-552. Pulley & Job, Liverpool to the Admirallty, 22 February 1810. Requests the discharge of John Main, a fisherman belonging to the Hebe of Exeter. Outlined his impressment by Captain Benjamin Carter and states that the his vessel is ready to proceed to the Labrador Fishery and his release is required.
