Folios 130-131: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Regarding Robert Gowlett now sent to the Nore by the Lynn Tender, returns and indenture from the late Master of Gowlett, has reviewed his case and the written defence and finds them of no merit.
Folios 132-133: enclosure with folios 130-131. Letter dated 22 November 1809 from James Ayre to the Lords of the Admiralty. Writes to plead the case and encloses [not present] his indenture and states his age as 17 next January, and seeks his release.
