Folos 206-207: Edward Henry Columbine, London.
In response to the letter demanding why the books of HMS Solebay have not been sent to the Navy Office so the men can receive their pay, he states that he has aleady explained his inability to make out Pay books. He then points out they did have pay books up to the end of June and he had provided information regarding the few changes that took place after that prior to the ship sinking so it would be possible to pay at leat those now on board HMS Royal William.
