Folios 173-174: William Charleton, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Reports on the case of John Bray and returns their enclosure and an invalid Ticket. States that he detained as it was believed he was liable for the impress and the surgeon pronounced him fit.
Folios 175-176: enclosure with folios 173-174. Petition dated 20 September 1809 of Rachal Bray, [Mad?] Lane, Lynn, Norfolk. Explains she is only now making the appeal as she assumed her husband would be discharged when the Impress saw his discharge certificate from HMS Namur where he was declared infit for service.
