Folios 158-159: Benjamin Clements, HMS Favourite. Encloses a list of the commissioned and warrant officers as requested. He particularly recommends Acting Lieutenant Watt who is a good officer and he describes some actions he has taken part in. He does not recommend Acting Boatswain R. Hunter as he is not a good seaman.
Folio 160: enclosure with folios 158-159. Commission dated 11 July 1809 from Bartholomew Rowley appointing Lieutenant Watt to HMS Favourite..
Folio 161: enclosure with folios 158-159. Navy Office return dated 21 May 1808. Certifies which ships Thomas Alexander Watt was borne on the books of between 1 February 1800 - 31 August 1807.
Folio 162: enclosure with folios 158-159. Passing certificate for Thomas Alexander Watt.
