Folios 283-284: Commander Benjamin Crispin, HMS Leveret, Harwich. Encloses a protection produced by impressed seaman William Brand and observes that the description would cover any man of the same height and build.
Folios 285-286: enclosed with folios 283-284. An Admiralty protection certificate issued to William Brand, seaman apprenticed to James Kenton of South Shields and dated 25 January 1808.
