Folios 252-253: Richard Creyke, Royal Naval Hospital, Plymouth. Reports that James Green, Boatswain of HMS Fairy now laid up in Ordinary, died the previous evening in the hospital.
Folios 254-255: enclosed with folios 252-253. Letter dated 11 February 1809 from Thomas Taylor, HMS Aimable, Spithead. Following a court martial held aboard HMS Goliath in Yarmouth Roads twelve months ago, he was dismissed as Boatswain of HMS Vestal and ordered to serve one year as Boatswains Mate. Asks to be restored to his former rank.
