Folios 161-162: Commander Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Captain Joshua Sydney Horton has referred him to the Admiralty's letter enclosing an application from John Barron for his discharge. Barron entered voluntarily in July 1806, is rated as a landsman and is sober and well-behaved. Returns his letter.
Folios 163-164: enclosed with folios 161-162: Letter dated 30 April 1809 from John Barron, HMS Princess, off Liverpool, to the Admiralty. Asks for his discharge if he can find a substitute.
