Folios 445-446: Nataniel Day Cochrane, HMS Alexandria. He asks for Robert Scott, Carpenter, to be appointed to a ship in ordinary due to his age and infirmity. He is a good Carpenter but unfit for active service.
Folios 447-448: enclosure with folios 445-446. Letter dated 15 May 1809 from Robert Scott, Carpenter, HMS Alexandria. He is unfit for active service with rheumatic pains, asthma and difficulty breathing. He asks to be transferred to a ship in ordinary.
