Folios 280-281: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool Bay. Captain Robert Mends having referred to him the enclosed letters from William Watterson requesting his discharge due to his age. States he was sent from the Rendezvous at the Isle of Man on 20 April 1808 and had been recommended by the Civil Power to Lieutenant Clarke for killing his wife. Has little doubt theat the letter from his wife is a forgery. He is about 50 years of age and is rated Able Seaman
