Folios 344-345: William Charleton, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Is sending papers for John Bull.
Folios 346-347: enclosure with folios 344-345. Letter dated 20 May 1808 by D. Long, the Messley. John Bull has a certificate as a Sea Fencible allowing him to sail in the Missley Snow and has a preganant wife and five children. He is now on HMS Firey bomb in Yarmouth and should be released.
