Folios 316-317:William Charleton, Regulating Officer, North Shields. James Martin, described, was impressed from the Mary Ann of Sunderland with no proof of his age apart from an insertion in his indentures which anyone could have done.
Folios 318-319: enclosure with folios 316-317. Letter dated 16 April 1808 by Michael Cockerill, 6 Sampson Gardens, St George East. James Martin is under the age of 18 and should be released.
