Folios 224-225: John Clavell, HMS Orlando. The health of the ship's Carpenter, John Graham, is so bad that the Surgeon says he is unfit to go to sea. There are many young carpenters in the Ordinary at the port and requests an Exchange. Mr Graham is a"deserving officer" and only ill health would make him leave the ship.
