Folios 114-115: Thomas Carew, HMS Jasper, Nore. Requests that the"R" against the name of Corporal in the Marines, Jeremiah Driscoll, be removed. He had leave of absence to see friends in Ireland, which when it expired he went on the Guard Ship at Cork for a passage to join his ship. Before he was able to join the"R" had been put by his name.
