Folios 97-98: John Cook Carpenter, HMS Racoon, Plymouth. On 16 June Lieutenant Thomas Chambers was appointed to the Racoon in place of Lieutenant Shirreff, who needs to attend to urgent private matters. As Lieutenant Chambers has not arrived requests the appointment of Lieutenant William Randall from HMS San Josef, who has Captain Raigersfields approval to join the Racoon.
