Folios 583-584: Thomas Bladen Capel. The bearer of his letter is Gunner of HMS Hogue, who while he was away from the ship finds he has been superceded. He was on leave in Scotland when he received orders to rejoin the ship. The passage by sea took 12 days, and when he reached the ship he found his name had been struck from the list. Asks for him to be reinstated.
