Folios 571-572: James Caulfeild [Caulfield], Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reports on the case of Richard Noster, now on board HMS Transit, returns the enclosures. Noster was pressed by Lieutenant William Boxer at Sunderland on 15 June out of the Hopewell of Weymouth, Richard Pearce, Master, because the Master was not able to swear that he had not been to sea before his indentures and Noster admitted that he had worked in boats for two years before being bound.
Folios 573-574: enclosed with folios 571-572. Letter signed by G L Garner for Abraham Pell, London, to the Admiralty dated 19 June 1815. Encloses [no longer present] the indenture of Richard Noster, bound as an apprentice to Richard Pearce of Portland, who was impressed on 14 June at Sunderland and is now aboard the receiving ship at Shields. Noster's protection was taken away by the Impress Officer.
Folios 575-576: enclosed with folios 571-572. Admiralty protection certificate issued to Richard Noster as an apprentice to Richard Pearce of Portland and dated 12 March 1813.
