Folios 222-223: William Fairbrother Carroll, HMS Cyrus art sea. States that, with the agreement of Lieutenant Thomas R Thomas, Royal Marine, he has broke Dennis Cassidy, late Sergeant and John Michael Donough, late Corporal Royal Marines, both of Plymouth Division, for having been both repeatedly guilty of drunkenness and neglect of duty and therefore unworthy and unfit for their stations. Advises that John Wheeler, No 127, late Corporal Royal Marines and John Cornelison, No 7, late Private, Royal Marine, both of Chatham Division, have been placed into the roles, having been recommended from HMS Swiftsure as worthy of promotion.
