Description (What the record is about)

Folios 212-213: James Creighton, HMS Aeolus, Galleons Reach. Reports his arrival at Galleons Reach from Quebec and explains that he was unable to stop at in Long Reach to off load the Guns and Gunners' stores as the ship required every article on board for stability as she was flying light when under sail. Advises that the ship was also supplied with a Bower anchor at Quebec from HMS Granicus to replace her own which had hooked a wreck.
