Folios 495-496: Edward Codrington, HMS Blake, Portsmouth. Is sending an acting warrant for John Cooke, Gunner.
Folios 497-498: enclosure with folios 495-496. Letter dated 2 June 1812 by Edward Pellew, Vice Admiral of the Red, Mediterranean, on board HMS Caledonia off Toulon. Thomas Parnall, Gunner of HMS Blake is invalided, so John Cooke of HMS Aigle is appointed to be Gunner of HMS Blake.
