Folios 410-411: Benjamin Carter, Regulating Officer, Cork. Matthew Harris, now on HMS Salvador del Mundi. Matthew Harris was impressed by Lieutenant Townsend from the Nancy and Mary.
Folios 412-413: enclosure with folios 410-411. Letter dated 3 May 1813 by Peter Dunstanville, Plymouth. Matthew Harris is the bona fide Mate of his brig employed in the coasting trade and was impressed even though he had his certificates because he could not write. He is a fisherman with five small children and half of the Mates from Cornwall cannot write.
