Folios 258-259: William Croft, Regulating Officer, Hull. William Kitchingman was apprehended as a deserter from HMS Bantum at the Downs in 1808. Elijah Morden was impressed as he had left his Mate's affadavit at Gainsborough.
Folios 260-261: enclosure with folios 258-259. Petition dated 22 March 1813 of James Morden, Master of the St Petersburg, Colchester. Elijah Morden was impressed from the St Peterburg as he had left his affadavit at Gainsborough but he had sworn another in front of Sir Henry Etherington JP.
Folios 262-263: enclosure with folios 258-259. Letter dated 23 March 1813. J. Staniforth, St George Hanover Square. He offers £80 for the return of William Kitchingman.
Folios 264-265: enclosure with folios 258-259. James Morden, Master of the St Petersburg. Elijah Morden his son was employed as a Mate but left his affadavit at Gainsborough and swore another before Sir Henry Etherington.
