Folios 601-602: Charles Coote, Great Cumberland Place, Portman Square. Report that two Gentleman of HMS Ranger are now in England. The first Mr Robert Edward Hunter, now Lieutenant on HMS Gloucester at Northfleet, the 2nd serving as Midshipman on HMS Helder at the Nore. I beg to be granted a Court Martial for the Loss of HM Sloop [Ranger] (Captured by the Rochfort Squadron on 19 July 1805).
