Folios 593-594: William Croft, Regulating Captain, Hull Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 23 May 1812 directing him to state the case of William Clark on HMS Namur or HMS Ceres. He states that William Clark joined on 12 April 1812, he is a Landsman aged 29 and is now on HMS Watchful, he complains of having a cut on his hand but the examining Surgeon says that it is of little consequence. Substitutes could be a good idea.
