Folios 527-528: enclosure with folios 525-526. Letter dated 23 April 1812 by Adam Brown, HMS Tremendous, Hosely Bay, to Captain Robert Campbell, HMS Tremendous. Some embarrassments in his private concerns having taken place as he has been nearly eight years detained as a Prisoner in France and his presence being necessary. He requests an order for an officer to be appointed to supercede him.
