Folios 480-481: Timothy Clinch, HMS Osprey, Heligoland Harbour. Reply to letter dated 30 March 1812. Encloses Captain Hunt's letter respecting the same and also return your enclosure.
Folios 482-483:enclosure with folios 480-181. Letter dated 6 April 1812 by William Buckley Hunt, HMS Britomart, at Heligoland, to Timothy Clinch, HMS Osprey, At Heligoland. As per your Order of the 10 March 1812 the man Phillip Cane Quarter Gunner on HMS Britomart was received with a draft of men on 10 November 1810 from HMS Ceres, he is thirty eight now acting as Quarter Gunner, and further I know nothing of and herewith return the enclosure.

Dated 14 February 1812. We the undersigned Merchants of Guernsey state that Mr Philip Le Cane alias Philip Le Quesne who has been impressed onto HMS Britomart and is the eldest son and principle Heir of Mr Philip Le Quesne of Guernsey. [2] D F Durand - Rector, John Harvey and William Robinson - Church Wardens of the Parish of St,. Peters Port in the Island of Guernsey Certify that Mr Philip Le Cane alias Philip Le Quesne is the eldest son and principle Heir of Mr Philip Le Quesne of Guernsey. Dated 18 February 1812. [3] James Arnold, Notary Public, Guernsey Island. I certify that Henry Giffard, John Lemollea, William Collins, Peter Mainge Senior, Lewis Duniere and Charles Bishop, on the first certificate and also that D F Durand - Rector, John Harvey and William Robinson on the second certificate were witnessed by me on 18 February 1812.
