Folios 477-478: Robert Campbell, HMS Tremendous, Downs. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from Mr William Kane, Acting Assistant Surgeon of HMS Tremendous and request his wishes are complied with.
Folio 479: enclosure with folios 477-47. Letter dated 30 March 1812 by William Kane, Acting Assistant Surgeon, HMS Tremendous, to Robert Campbell, HMS Tremendous. Request his discharge from HMS Tremendous so that he can spend 3 months studying to qualify as an Assistant Surgeon.
