Folios 406-407: Richard Curry, HMS Solebay, Yarmouth Roads. He is forwarding a request from Charles Penfold, Purser of HMS Solebay, to draw the necessary money for the same number of men as was allowed to the Purser of HMS Roebuck. Supports this request as the expense of necessaries will be equal to that of HMS Roebuck.
Folio 408: Enclosure with folios 406-407: Letter dated 25 November 1811 from Charles Penfold, Purser, HMS Solebay, Yarmouth Roads, to Richard Curry, Captain of HMS Solebay, Yarmouth Roads. HMS Solebay bears the flag of the Commander in Chief on that station and is fitted the same as a two deck ship. She is intended to answer all the purposes of HMS Roebuck which lately bore the Vice Admiral's flag. HMS Solebay's expenses are as great as that ship and he requests to be allowed the same necessary money for the same number of men as was allowed to the Purser of HMS Roebuck.
