Folios 399-400: Thomas Bladen Capel, London. As a result of the death of his clerk and of the Purser of HMS Arab formerly under his commanded took the books and papers with him to HMS Meleager in order to complete the accounts, but before that was done the ship was wrecked and most of the papers were lost. His pay for HMS Arab has been prevented as well as several ships he has subsequently commanded. Asks for a dispensing order to pass his accounts for HMS Arab from 27 December 1798 to 11 September 1800.
Folio 401: Enclosure with folios 399-400: Paper Office note dated 23 November 1811 concerning Captain Capel's accounts for HMS Arab, referred to the Navy Board 27 November [1911].
