Folios 174-175: John Campbell Crawford, 4 Arundel Street, the Strand, London. Reports that he has been confined to bed for 16 days with a fever, and this is only the third day he has been out of bed. He is still debilitated and unable to join his ship. Requests a few more days leave, and encloses a medical certificate.
Folio 176: enclosure with folios 174-175. Letter dated 5 November 1807 by H. Radnor, Apothecary, Arundel Street, Strand. Certifies that John Campbell Crawford has been under his care with a fever for some days. It would be proper for him to remain resting for 10 days or a fortnight longer to regain his health.
