Folios 620-621: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. He has received the Indentures of apprenticeship for Charles Hackett from Captain Mends. Reports he came on board as a substitute but a suspicion arose that he was an apprentice. Seeks directions returning his Indenture [no longer present].
Folios 622-623: enclosed in folios 620-621. Letter dated 2 December 1807 by John Hackett, Tithebarn Street, Liverpool. Sends the enclosed indentures of apprenticeship between himself and his son just turned sixteen who went on board HMS Princess. Requests his discharge. [Indenture not present].
