Folios 588-589: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reply to letter 29 September from Mr Lyman seeking discharges. Reports the man was impressed by HMS Princess’s boats and put onto HMS Minstrel for Plymouth. He had no documents at all about his being an American but evidently appeared to be an Irishman. Then latter was impressed by the gang and he has referred them to Captain Mends for a report. He returns documents from Thomas Bull, [no longer present].
