Folios 549-550: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reports he discharged John Quay 25 August as directed.
Folios 551-552: enclosed in folios 549-550. Letter dated 15 August 1807 by Reverend John Julius Gell, Wavertree. Wrote a week ago about John Quay, Landsman, impressed in the Isle of Man and still on board HMS Princess. Says he was a Minister of the father’s parish and knows his family to be honest people. Fears that he may have been drafted onto another vessel.
