Folios 474-475: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Reply to letter 8th June enclosing an application from Thomas Varley for the discharge of William Patterson, Supernumerary Seaman on producing two substitutes. Reports he is an able Seaman who’s been at sea for six years.
Folios 476-476A: enclosed in folios 460-461. Letter dated 6 June 1807 by Thomas Varley, Leather Lane, Dale Street, Liverpool. Sending enclosed petition.
Folios 477-478: enclosed in folios 460-461. Petition dated 6 June 1807 by Hannah Patterson, Wife of William Patterson, Liverpool. Petitions that her husband William Patterson has been at sea three years and with one young living child and in an advanced state of pregnancy she has no way to support herself other than by her honest and industrious husband. Requests his discharge on providing two Landsman substitutes.
