Folios 208-209: John Clements, Regulating Captain, Dartmouth. Reply to letter of 6th about obtainable small vessels around Torbay, Dartmouth and Salcombe. Will send return for remaining districts, Plymouth as soon as possible. Recommendations for leaving supplies of stores and ordinance. Says there’s always a party of military to protect stores at Berry Head.
Folio 210: enclosed in folios 208-209. Inventory of serviceable vessels, Teignmouth to Blame Head. Clements says there are upwards of seventy sloops employed in coasting, coal, Culin and Limestone trades from 30-120 tons.
