Folios 182-183: John Clements, Regulating Captain, Dartmouth. Encloses letter from Lieutenant Thomas superintending the West Sewer Signal Station. Asks their Lordships grant him fourteen days leave to return to Glamorgan to attend the election. Says could their reply be sent directly to him the Signal Station at West Sewer near Kingsbridge, Devon as it will be received two days sooner than them mailing it to Dartmouth.
Folio 184: enclosed in folios 182-183. Letter dated 9 May 1807 by George Thomas, HM Signal Station, West Sewer, to Captain Nathaniel Portlock, Commander, Salcombe Sea Fencibles. Says there is an election in Glamorgan and he would like to give his vote as it’s a very sharp contest. Requesting Captain Clements for fourteen days leave.
