Folios 104-105: Edward Sneyd Clay, Regulating Officer, Belfast. Acknowledges letter of 22 December ordering two able bodied Landsmen to be substitutes for Richard English onboard HMS Gibraltar. Received packet of Press warrants one of which he made out for Lieutenant John Howden whose death he wrote about in his letter 15 December and whose vacancy has not been filled.
