Folios 307-308: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Richard Parsons left the whaler Everetta and signed articles to join the Ann of Newcastle. He was pressed the night before she sailed, but it is now claimed that he should be discharged as belonging to a whaling ship.
Folios 309-310: enclosed with folios 307-308. Letter dated 25 March 1807 by Robert Fanshaw. He says that John Boswell, Owner and part owner of the Everetta has received a protection for Richard Parsons. He asks for his discharge into the Everetta as otherwise he will be a great loss.
Folio 311: enclosed with folios 309-310. Charles Oglelole. A protection notice for Richard Parsons.
Folio 312: enclosed with folios 309-310. John Boswell. Protection notice for Richard Parsons due to him serving on a whaler.
