Folios 297-298: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. William Sisterson is on board the Eliza tender having been impressed by Lieutenant Dathan who did not believe that he was Master of the Elizabeth. He complains about the attitude and behaviour of William Sisterson.
Folios 299-300: enclosed with folios 297-298. Letter dated March 1807 by John Faulder, 51 Millclose Square. He complains that Captain Charleton has impressed William Sisterson, Master of his ship the Elizabeth. He explains that the Elizabeth had been seized at South Shields until debts were paid, but the matter is now settled and the ship is back in his possession and that William Sisterson remains Captain and Master.
Folios 301-302: enclosed with folios 297-298. Letter dated 7 March 1807 by Joseph Bulmer, Laygate, South Shields. he requests the immediate discharge of William Sisterson as he is the Captain and Master of the Elizabeth. He threatens Captain Charleton with serious consequences if he does not discharge this man.
Folios 303-304: enclosed with folios 297-298. Letter dated 6 March 1807 by Charles Ogle, Collector of Customs, North Shields. He tells William Charleton that William Sisterson is available for impressment.
