Folios 277-278: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields.Matthew Scott, Keelman, was impressed by Lieutenant France. He was not entered on any lists as a Keelman and therefore was not seen as being exempt from the press.
Folio 279: enclosed with folios 277-278. Christopher Blackett, Coal Owner and Fitter. He claims that under previous agreements Matthew Scott is exempt from being pressed.
Folio 280: enclosed with folios 277-278. James Faddy, Agent. He swears on oath 21 February 1807 that Matthew Scott is a Keelman and has never been to sea.
