Folios 259-260: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. He has received a writ of Habeus Corpus from Alexander Baxter, Consul General of Russia and Agent to the Duke of Sleswig Holstein Gottorp Oldenberg. It concerns Heinrich Mencke who was pressed by Lieutenat Dathan from the Jack Tar of London, Alexander Seavewith, Master.
Folio 261: enclosed with folios 259-260. Document dated 8 October 1805 confirming that Heinrich Mencke is a subject of Oldenburg and is exempt from being impressed.
