Folio 258: William Cumberland, Regulating Captain, Liverpool. He encloses two letters concerning the retirement, on medical grounds, of Lieutenant Isiah Brookbank.
Folios 259-260: enclosure with folio 258. A letter dated 10 March 1806 by [D Lindsay?] Liverpool. He states he examined Lieutenant Brookbank and finds him afflicted witha Fistula in Perineo, for which he has twice been invalided from active service. He states he is unfit for further active duty.
Folio 261: enclosure with folio 258. A letter dated 10 March 1806 by Lieutenant Isiah Brookbank, Liverpool, to Captain William Cumberland. He requests he be recommended for retirement on the grounds of ill health and seeks Cumberlands support in his application.
