Folio 374: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. receipt of letter enclosing petition from Catherine Walker for the discharge of her son John Walker on production of 3 able bodied landsmen as substitutes. States that he has been at sea about 3 years, rated as Ordinary on the Supernumerary list of HMS Princess. he is about 5ft 6 in tall, a thin light boned man, 22 year of age.
Folio 375: enclosure with folio 374. Petition dated 7 March 1806 from Catherine Walker of Liverpool. Her son, the only hope and support of her declining years, was impressed last Wednesday and is now on board HMS Princess in the River Mersey. Asks for his discharge upon producing 3 able bodied landsmen as substitutes.
