Folio 371: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Receipt of letter enclosing petition from M Rowlands for the discharge of her husband, offering to find a substitute. States that he is a stout, athletic Able Seaman. He is convinced that there is no truth in the petition.
Folios 372-373: enclosure with folio 371. Letter dated 3 March 1806 from Mary Rowlands, 4, Rainsford Garden, Liverpool. A fortnight ago her husband Robert Rowlands was impressed and is on board HMS Princess. Her 4 children have been deprived of their father and he was her sole support. She is trying to find a substitute.
